What You Should Do If Your Vista Get Slowly

Windows Vista has been known to cause slow network transfer speed for some users, most notable when copying files across a network that could take much longer than before. Some suggestions that can help users experiencing slow network performance are as follows:

1) Download the latest drivers for your network adapter on the site of manufacturers (not based on the drivers Windows Update). Then, check that it is configured properly display device configuration manager.
2) Install the latest version of Windows Update patches, including Vista SP1.
3) If you use a firewall Part 3, make sure it is configured properly. For example, Kaspersky Internet Security there is a "high speed" that the establishment must be checked.
4) Try disabling remote differential compression, click Start> Control Panel> Programs> Programs and Functions. Turn then click functions in Windows and outside, untick remote differential compression and click OK:

5) The last thing to try would disable the network Auto-tuning. First, load the box execute pressing windows key + R and then run:
netsh interface tcp World Series autotuninglevel = disabled

You'll have to restart your PC after that and returns to the transfer network. If speeds are still low, you can return the self-adjustment to their way of re-run the following command:
netsh interface tcp World Series autotuninglevel = Normal
